ahh lovely. last week was pretty bad – so to end it, the marketing boys & myself headed off to skeazy bar – red neck heaven where the girls aren’t afraid to show a little skin and home of the “minnow shot”. i’m not joking on the minnow shot either! and it’s exactly what you think it is. except the minnow is bigger than you think, about 1 1/4 inches long.
now, patrick had his first alcoholic drink EVER about 2 months ago. his first shot was a minnow shot. had some tequila (patron) shots in between, and then we end up here. i know i’m an evil girl, so i order him a minnow shot (with his consent) and… bacardi 151 (fire!!!). MUHAHA. but he took it like a champ. i would have thrown up right on the spot.

it’s august already? how did that happen. probably something going through everyone’s mind. i bet those who are still in school are beginning to feel that sensation of dread or excitement – depending on how much you enjoy your edumacation.
a year ago, we got little nikon! he’s not so little anymore, but he was a cutie pie. such a joy to have as well, even though he has cost us a lot of extra money with him tearing up the (new) house and just being a little terror. but oink did have his moments too… so cheers little nikon! yay!!
last week was such a daze. i don’t think i’ve ever been that frustrated at work in awhile. but my wonderful boss(es) had both their final days, and it was really sad for me. it’s really odd.
today, garrick showed me how weak my core was while working out. i am a really huge weakling. so he showed me a couple pointers and now hopefully i will become stronger!! we shall see, won’t we? maybe next summer i’ll have a rad beach body to show off… but until then i’ll just keep sitting in the corners.
