calling

i remember whenever first dating someone, it was so hard for me to call them for no reason at all. even though i’m not much of a phone person (can’t really keep me on there for that long), you just get that longing to call them. just to talk or see what they’re doing. and for me, it was so hard. i had to mentally coach myself into dialing their number into the phone i’d been juggling around in my hands for the past 30 minutes… and couldn’t help but smile with silliness when they picked up and said “hello”.

and i still smile with silliness, 3+ years later. :]
