keep it real

i’m so tired of people being fake. that’s what i can’t stand about a lot of people. fake. fake. fake. i don’t understand what’s so wrong about being real. isn’t there something beautiful in the rawness of life?

    I’ll bite.

    Being raw also means being exposed to all that is underneath. Both good and bad. Some people aren’t comfortable with it, and in all honestly I think it involves a decent amount of trust and might I say..love? It’s a lot more safer to not “be real”.

    uuhhmmm being real means you trust the other person to not make fun of you, judge you or think bad of you when you present the real you to them. I sometimes think it takes a bit of faith, a bit of belief that the other person loves you. Maybe. Or I might just be talking out of my ass. Who knows.

    oliver – i fixed it!
    sam – great points. and i know there are a lot of different situations. i was more referring to people in general, not the people you’re necessarily close to. but i think being real does come with who you trust and who you love.
