unfortunately i wasn’t able to talk about this yesterday, but it definitely deserves a post!

i’ve been pretty busy at work lately. and i know this might sound crazy to some, but i get so busy that i often skip lunch (other people know how this feels…). it’s not that i do it on purpose, but all of a sudden you look at the clock and it’s already 2-3pm. where did the time go? there’s no point in eating lunch when i’m about to go home and eat dinner in 3 hours.

i told g of my woes on monday night after another day of no lunch.

the following day, g stayed home from work in the morning, drove to chick-fil-a and brought me lunch. we sat in his car chomping down on waffles fries. he insisted i relax and we reclined our seats and listened to 519 by matt wertz. all that just took 20 minutes. but those 20 minutes made my day.

keep it real

i’m so tired of people being fake. that’s what i can’t stand about a lot of people. fake. fake. fake. i don’t understand what’s so wrong about being real. isn’t there something beautiful in the rawness of life?

ann arbor

sleep deprived. but back in dallas from ann arbor! you know, i never thought of ann arbor as a place to visit, and it’s not like it’s one of my top places to go now at all. but it’s really a cute town. carolyn was kind enough to take me on a driving tour (she broke her leg and has been crutching around, poor girl) of the main parts of town. main street is so cute. i kept thinking it would be an awesome place to take pictures. there are a ton of small eateries all over the place, that unfortunately i didn’t get to experience, but if i ever go back, it will be something i make sure i do! i hear it’s beautiful in the summer, and i don’t doubt that. i didn’t take any pics (left my canon at home), so i’m just left with the memories.

other than that, the basketball promo for STA that i went up for went very well! and i got to sit courtside for the game. i kept thinking how cool it would’ve been if it was at a texas game… oh well. it was still awesome.

today, i reached platinum membership status for hyatt. i’ve only stayed at their hotel on two different occasions in january – but hey, i’ll take it. complimentary internet access, hoorah! thinking about staying at the hyatt regency london when kat and i go, so that’ll be useful.

i also maxed out my hard drive on my mac… and can’t do much on here anymore (as in movie/photo editing because i run out of space/memory). awesome. thanks humungous video and photo files. my asia cr2s alone are 10 gs.

i’m off to ann arbor, mi this weekend. hello, snow.
