yesterday, i was talking to my wonderful, lovable mother on the phone.

m: i bought you a dress at ross, but it’s almost time for me to decide whether i need to return it or just keep it
o: well, why don’t…
m: [interrupts] i just don’t know if you’ll like it
o: well, how about…
m: [interrupts] it’s almost time for me to need to return it!
o: ok ok ok, what does it look like?
m: it’s grey
o: ok… didn’t you just learn how to use photobooth? take a picture of it
m: i asked oriana to do it
o: what… i thought you learned…
m: [interrupts] oh oh oh!!! i know!!! [super excited] i can SKY-PEA you!!
o: sky-PEA?
m: yes! when you get home, get onto sky-pea and i can show you!
o: you mean… skype??
m: oh… skype? is that how you say it?? HAHAHHAHA
o: HAHAHAHAHA

    My parents call it sky-pea too… as do most Asian parents I know.

    All I can wonder is “wtf were they thinking when they named their product?!”
