busy sunday

i had a pretty busy sunday actually… but very productive.

- woke up at 9:15, walked the dogs for 30 minutes, ate breakfast, showered

- went to irving bible church at 10:45

- got home at 12:15, ate lunch, headed off to work

- left work at 3:00, got home, got changed

- arrived at operation kindness at 4:40 to pick up my dog, drove to shops of legacy for the event

- arrived back at operation kindness at 8:15 to drop off the dogs

- ate dinner with g at pho, got back home around 9:45

- enjoyed some ice cream, did some work until 12:00 and went to bed

four

morning, sunshine.

today is the four year anniversary of g and me! woot.

i sent g a surprise batch of tiff’s treats cookies. yum. got off work at 2:30pm and came home to this…

love it! needless to say, it was a nice surprise.

later that night, g and i ventured off to the skyscraper that makes dallas what it is… the reunion tower. wanted to try out wolfgang puck’s five sixty restaurant. i wasn’t too impressed… but it is kind of fun to be moving while you’re eating as the tower spins slowly.

i also witnessed a guy proposing to a girl. awkward.

prom

it’s oriana’s senior year and she goes to prom!! hoorah!! high school musical 3 in real life!

compromised

i came home today to find two letters. i open the first one and learn that my credit card has been compromised and bank of america has shut down my card. hoorah, and thanks. i open the second one, and find my new credit card. i just spent the last 40 minutes switching out all my automatic payments. now i am done.

i also finished firefly this week… which is a super awkward sci-fi “space cowboy” show that g made me watch and that most people close to me love. i must say… although i did warm up to it after the first 5 stupid episodes… it’s not really a show i will rewatch. so awkward. but i did like the captain!

the season premiere of glee was awful.

the weekend

friday – got off work at around 3:30 and headed home excited about crawfish!! went out with lots of people to the boiling crab. afterwards, went to bistro b and got some hot soy milk with emily, joon and g. then we came back to the house to play some good ‘ole beer pong and andrew, laura and varun came over too. had fun! stayed up till around 3 am then i called it a night.

saturday – lounged around the house. i don’t think i did anything.

sunday – woke up at 5:30 am to go watch the implosion of texas stadium. goodbye!

got back home at 7:30 am where i went back to bed. woke up at 10 am to get ready for the cotton bowl doggy bowl event with operation kindness. stomach was feeling a little funny, but pushed it off and got to the cotton bowl at 11:30. crazy times with awesome dogs. by the end though, i was feeling really crappy. got home, crashed into bed at 6 pm. woke up a little bit later with a fever. took medicine, went back to bed. on and off, and…

monday – …finally woke up for work at 8:20 am.
