on our nightly walk with the dogs:

g: you’re shiny! … or you’re just sweating
o: i’m a vampire, i’m sparkling!
g: (has not read twilight) huh?
o: in twilight, they sparkle in the sun
g: what, don’t they die in the sun?
o: not the twilight vampires!
g: that’s retarded
o: yeah, they sparkle and that’s how people know they are vampires
g: twilight vampires are dumb. they sparkle? what about when they fly?
o: they don’t fly, they just run fast
g: what about jump?
o: yes they jump high too
g: do they even drink blood?
o: yes, of course they drink blood
g: i bet you wouldn’t taste good
o: what, why!?
g: because you don’t drink water. your blood would be solid
o: hahaha
g: it would be like drinking a milkshake through a straw
o:: gross.
g: (bites o on the wrist)
o: ouch.

cupcake party

today, i hosted a spontaneous cupcake party to bake these red wine chocolate cupcakes one of my co-workers made for our charity bake sale in july. mmm been craving it ever since. jess, steph, and riddhi came over to help bake up some goodness. g pitched in a little too. here’s some proof that i finally used the oven.
