a glimpse into the (possible) future

babies make me paranoid

g and i were forced to make a visit to babies ‘r’ us yesterday since people, unfortunately, decide to have babies. i am totally kidding, but not really.

when we pulled into the parking lot, i was seized with an awkward feeling deep in my gut. walking up and through the doors made me break out into a sweat.

that may be a slight over exaggeration, but that’s what my mind was thinking even if my physical appearance appeared normal. the only redeeming factor was seeing dry fit “baby armour” by under armour which is completely awesome, even if it’s for a baby.

the best part was stumbling across the “sophie le giraffe” section. a picture is all i have to leave you with (note the description on the box). best baby gift ever.

despite these finds, i was still gripped with a twitchy, nervous feeling. while walking through the store, g and i avoided touching each other. i felt like the store would fertilize me in a way that wasn’t possible… but oh, so possible. ew.

i must say, i breathed a sigh of relief when we walked out. phew.

this past weekend, i went to my last wedding of this year (or in the foreseeable future, actually!). there’s a finality in that as we’ve been going to a string of weddings for a good 6 months or so.

and in comes the summer, with all it’s heat.
