break up

i want to break up with texas and it’s terrible heat.

summer days

i’m off today and monday – taking my extra PTO “summer” days that we get every year to use between memorial and labor day holidays. plan to go down to austin tomorrow to spend some family/friend time :]

in other news…

• been really busy at work
• getting addicted to mad men (it was a slow addiction, but addiction nonetheless)
• my orchid is dying :[
• i got a new elephant bush to make up for killing my old snow bush, not dead yet!

someone should remind me to blog more. i've been slacking. a lot.
