this past weekend, i went to my last wedding of this year (or in the foreseeable future, actually!). there’s a finality in that as we’ve been going to a string of weddings for a good 6 months or so.

and in comes the summer, with all it’s heat.

a couple posts ago, you learned that i lost my phone. i didn’t merely lose it – it clearly vanished into thin air, never to be seen again. or the “kind” karaoke owner stole it. oh well – what can you do.

however, i have learned how attached i was to that lovely white iphone 4. i miss instagram. i miss the better camera. i miss the faster connection. i miss all the notes i took (well, there’s goes the lock combination i never bothered to memorize…). i miss using apps. i miss not having a phone with a crack on the screen.

oh, cry me a river you spoiled brat. missing all these luxuries make me feel bad.

this past sunday i ran the rock ‘n’ roll half marathon – 13.1 miles. first ever – and won’t be my last. there’s something about running these events that’s so addicting. ended up with 2:41:49 as my time… wishing i could’ve done better – but there’s always next time.
